OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Based upon the Word of God, the purpose of Baptist Center Church
is to know Christ and to make him known, through:

Worship: To express our love and commitment to God personally, and as a church.
Evangelism: To proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in a relevant way to all people.
Discipleship: To train believers to be obedient to God's Word.
Ministry: To meet the needs of people in Jesus' name.
Fellowship: To join our lives together as a part of the family of God.

Baptist Center Church disciples Christians to live by the "Great Commission"
that Jesus Christ spoke to the disciples after he appeared again after rising from the grave:

Matthew 28:18-20:

18. Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20. and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Becoming a Christian is the most important decision in your life.

Don't put it off until it's too late!

We don't want to see anyone lost.
God loves us all and wants the best for all of humanity.

God sent Jesus Christ to show humanity the depth of his love. Jesus began teaching God's love
at a young age, displaying many miracles through the healing of many. The Pharisees rejected
Christ's teachings and had him tortured, beaten and crucified on a cross in Jerusalem.
Yet, death could not defeat Jesus as He rose again on the third day to teach his disciples the meaning of his life.

If you're not yet a Christian, we strongly urge you to consider the benefits of being a Christian:

living a full, satisfying life showing others the the love God has for us
an assurance of entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven through salvation

Surely, no one would prefer the alternative:
an empty life that ends in the damnation of Hell.

God doesn't want this for anyone, yet there are still some who reject Jesus as the saviour.

We sincerely want you to enjoy life with a certainty of knowing that your life has a meaning:
bringing others to a saving knowledge of God's love through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
